Officially, yes -- he was executed by the state for
crimes of rebellion...

Unofficially... Delta sympathizers (not Deltas
themselves I believe -- regs) disguised themselves as
guards and halted the execution -- much to the dismay of
the bloodthirsty, revenge-filled crowd...

It's a government plot... They don't want the truth
about the repression of Deltas to be free -- they want
to brainwash young Deltas into signing over their
rights to the state.

Having only played Champions once (miserably), I can't
really compare it to that -- other than I doubt it would
have taken an Advanced Math degree and a calculator
to make up a character.

As compared to Marvel and DC.. Hard to say. It shares
similarities with the Deadlands system that make it
easy to understand (with all the plusses and minuses
that that brings), but uses only d6, a simplification on
par with Marvel...

I'll say more once I have the books read... For now all
I really have to go on is a whirlwind demo by the
Graveyard Greg himself...
