I don't have the book with me, but wasn't it all the FREE alphas that 
disappeared in the Vanishing? If I know my game master, some of those 
imprisoned alphas might just break out of jail in the near future . . . I 
may be going toe-to-toe with one sooner than I think!

Hmmm . . . maybe the Devastator activated some sort of alpha inhibitor that 
is still in place somehow. I've been scanning the books for clues, but 
haven't come up with anything yet.
