[BNW] The incredible bouncing Goliath [Matt]

Hey all,
Something just occured to me while reding my BNW book. We already had a
clarification that A Goliath get's his +5 to strength when calculating his
size for damage. I can only assume that he likewise get's this bonus when
calculating his strength for jumping range. On page 142 it says that a hero
can jump a half an inch forward for each point of strength that he has. For
a Goliath with 5d strength, with a +5 bonus (a ten strength, as it was
figured for damage), that would mean that he can leap forward 5 inches.
That's 10 yards, 30 feet.

I'm not sure if that would be calculating correctly, but IMNSHO it would
seem a bit *off* for a character of that kind of bulk to be able to leap
forward 30 feet. That would also mean that he could take a slow speed (and
hence a slow pace)and not be too penalized by going running around leaping
everywhere he went and moving faster. Sure, it would scream "Delta Prime,
I'm a giant oaf leaping around causing 10 foot pothole on city streets and I
must be up to no good so why don'y you come over here and haul my delta ass
in!" but I just want confirmation that i'm figuring this correctly.

It had occured to me that your jumping distance covered must be counted as
your movement, so if the Goliath did jump 5 inches, and his pace was say, 7,
then he could only move annother 2 inches in the round and that would be the
end of it.
