Matt has stated that the latter is correct, yes. The Strength bonus also
adds to Jumping, Lifting, and what not.

According to the rules, apparently not. We noticed this discrepancy the
other night as well. However, it was a Bouncer who noticed this, and since
it entitled him to use Flip-Toss (or whatever it is called), so the slightly
easier TN for his oppponent to hit him made sense in this case. For others,
it doesn't seem to. which is probalby why Dodge, while at least permissible
(it isn't in Deadlands or HoE) against close combat attacks, isn't
necessarilyt he best thing to do and remains a more effective tactic against
ranged attacks (or if you're a lover, not a fighter, and don't _have_
hand-to-hand combat skills).

I'd treat the cover as a default size 5 for figuring damage. Then anything
that gets through, compare to the normal Size of the target.

Would have to check. Remember that their are "steps" of damage, so that the
vehicle will be effectively useless long before it is vaporized. :)
