sure the white male middle classes probably think its a good idea, but
anyone who steps outside this policticaly acceptable norm will be labeled a
trouble maker and defiant sympathiser. Want to go on strike about
unacceptable working coinditions/pay? your hampering the effort aginst the
defiant menace! get back in line commie! want equal pay/rights for women?
that all very well dear but right now we have to concentrate on fighting
defiants/USSR/red china/Evil Unlimited and we need you women to stay home
and look after the kids (probably a lesbian) etc etc

Hmm you would like to think that, but im not so sure, think of the communist
witch hunts, right wing christain pressure groups and conformist attitude
imposed by the threat of nuclear war. the cold war is more real than ever
and the americans are loosing
