And exactly when/how were your players' characters going to figure this out, 
and exactly why is that sooner that when the published (And no more or less 
valid than yours) was going to be revealed to them? Or are you telling this 
to your players so they stopped asking you where their powers come from? Do 
you tell them all your worlds secrets before their charcters would find it 
out, so they stop asking you?
