Umm, at least one of them was an alien police-type, wasn't he? Or did he
end up getting some powers in the White Event, too?

But even if true, a moot point without substantiation of the original
contention that this kind of inconsistent "one origin" storyline led to the
line's failure in the first place. Could you cite _any_ source that claimed
that NU's storyline approach was a contributing factor in its cancellation.

As opposed to (as I recall in my dim and foggy memory) the somewhat mediocre
artwork, generally lousy writing (football heroes like Kickers Inc. turned
into superheroes strike me as a hard concept to get over no matter _how_
they got their powers ;) , and the so-so characterization (I remember
Psi-Force, thank you very much! - if I wanted to read Forever People, I
would head over to DC and read Forever People).

The best source I can find concerning its cancellation (which doesn't
comment on the factor you seem to have a problem with, although it doesn't
cite much of anything else either) can be found at:

(also good for those wondering what the hell we're talking about)

There's a pretty humorous reference to it, and a lot of humor in general,
at:

But in any case, thanks for bringing back some fond (and not so fond)
memories... :)
