Re: [BNW] Brawling

Good point. My group has created a Trick based on Martial Arts that allows
the swifter, lighter Artist to compete with brute brawlers. Similar to the
extra damage a shooting character gets (1 die per success over the target
number to hit) we allow the Trick "Pressure Points" to work in a similar
fashion (+1 die to the damage roll per extra success rolled on the melee
attack). This allows a more level battlefield since the Speed users now can
simulate the supposedly superior fighting prowess of their Art and actually
not necessarily need a huge Strength to compliment it. One of my players in
real life practices Tae Kwon Do and can crack a cinder block with a punch
that would break my hand, but physically he's weaker than me. We've also
considered "Armor Piercing" as a trick, in as much as one attack (and only
that one attack) will bypass the armor of your target (who may still dodge),
but it costs a Delta Point to activate. This prevents abuse since even in a
heated fight, the AP using character can only use it three times. GM's call
as to which attacks/powers/weapons it may be used with.
