[BNW] Miscellaneous

Hi:

I like the Wind system you guys have come up with. It seems quick and easy to
remember. When designing the game, I just decided that I wanted to not have
to keep track of too many kinds of damage, so I just went with wounds and
stun. To my mind, if a person is stunned, they're pretty much out of it and
you can have your way with them. In reality, it's difficult to actually knock
someone out without doing them some serious damage, often a concussion or
worse. The idea that you can just pop someone upside the head to drop them is
pretty much just a gimmick from film and television, as well as comics.

As for Origins and GenCon, I'll be at both, but not Euro Gen Con--at least as
far as I know. I'll be in the AEG booth at Origins and GenCon. As for a
listserv dinner, I don't know that we'd want to have one separate from the
Pinnacle guys, but I'd leave that up to Shane, as I don't want to horn in on
his party. AEG hasn't historically done such things, I don't believe, so I
wouldn't bet on anything on that front.

Either way, I hope to see many if not all of you this summer at the shows.

Delta Prime is back from the printer, and the release date for the books to
be shipped from the distributors is May 30. You should see it soon after
that.

Bargainers is already at the printer, so we're moving along pretty well now.
Crescent City is in layout, and I'm making my way through Glory Days as you
read this.

That's all for now!
