[BNW] Defender Question.

 So I'm handing over Guide duties to a friend of mine and I'm making a
hero for his upcoming adventure. I skim through Ravaged Planet and I
find myself drawn to the Defender package, which really suits the heroic
tone I want to give my character. However, there's something I want to
know, and maybe you fellows can help:
     Defenders have a trick called Shield Attack, where they can use
their force fields as a weapon. What I want to know is, could a Defender
project his shield away from his/her body? Maybe even throw it? I'm
trying to give my character a modern Captain America kind of feel, and
I'm thinking this would make a cool custom attack. What do you think?
