As written I don't belive that is the intent of the trick. I would sugest a
new trick Shield throw (needs 2 extra sucesses or something like) or use the
shield attack and add 1 sucesses to project it out, but if this is the case
I would limit it to something like 15")

Just an idea off the top of my head, I don't have any books (for BNW) with
me now so this might not make sense.
