Well if it's a millitary style one (such as a flack jacket) then yes I would
say it would help (it's really thick) and very noticable. For your state of
the art moderen bullet proof vest, then One it would be slightly difficult
to notice (depending on what is worn over it) and two, I would doubt that it
would help much as it is to stop high volecty penatrating hits. A leather
jacket would work just as good if not better.
