Well one theory would be that they were protected
somehow. Something obviously protected the Facade so
why not them as well. In fact if they were somehow
involved in the creation of Devestator's bomb then
they would know exactly what to protect against and
could create a totem that would provide the protection
that a Delta dampining field would.
