That is one story of the Sentinels. It was done in the cartoon and as well
as X-Factor. (the First one was called Master Mold). Another story is where
Oliver Trask was working for "Project Wide Awake" and used his fathers
designs for the sentinels and was himself a mutant (he hid this with a
device that blocked scans) He was killed by his own sentinels once he lost
the medallion that was the scan blocker. With out a developer and with the
public screw up the project was closed (officially). Then Nimrod showed up
from the future. He took on the X-men and the Hellfire club's Inner Circle.
