[BNW] Team Concepts

Hi all.

In an effort to spice up the concept of the team in BNW (which right now is
just Defiant vs Delta Prime), I'm going to take some comic book teams and
sort of convert them over to our Brave New World.  I'll avoid using names
where possible to allow for maimum convertability.  Maybe it will spur some
ideas for new campaigns or adventures.  I'll give you a cookie if you guess
what comic book team I'm converting.

The story of this modern team begins with a man named Dan Lyons.  Dan was a
hero of the Delta Squadron in WWII despite his young age at the time.  Even
though he was a Gadgeteer, his physical prowess allowed him to get out on
the battlefield with the best of them, fighting alongside the likes of
Patriot and Yankee.  When the war was over, he returned to a private life
and continued his heroism as an independant operative.

Lyons is an old man now, and very bitter.  He's bitter that no one remembers
him, and he's bitter that he isn't living in the lap of luxury that a hero
of his stature deserves.  It's not just that he wants the public's
adoration, they _owe_ it to him.  So he's developed a plan to get it.

He has scouted around and managed to locate four newly-awakened deltas.
They're young and impressionable, perfect for molding into a cell of
Defiants.  He'll teach them what they need to know, equip them, have them
execute a few high-profile missions to get the eye of the media...

Then he'll sweep in and save the day, stopping the dangerous terrorists.
The President will thank him for his valor, the Primers will congratulate
him on his success, and the public will love seeing him come out of
retirment.  It's perfect.

Lyons' first pawn is a young Scrapper.  He's managed to almost totally
brainwash the young man into a version of himself.  He is the leader of the
team, and can be counted upon to do exactly as Lyons instructs.  He has
equipped the Scrapper with a suit of armor that augments his strength to
rival that of any Goliath.  The next member is a Gadgeteer.  He's helped the
young man construct his own suit of armor.  It's nothing compared to an
Armorgeddon suit, but it's fast and packs enough punch.  The others are a
smart-mouthed young Bouncer and a Teleporter.  Lyons doesn't much care for
the Bouncer, and would be perfectly happy if he didn't survive the "rescue"
he's planning to stage.  The Teleporter, well, she's sort of a mystery.
Lyons doesn't like mysteries.

Okay.  You could easily screw around with the power packages there and this
would be a great way to start a campaign (in my decidedly partial opinion).
Anybody know what comic book I'm converting here?
