The gaming contract is a term applied to the understanding between the GM
and players. Most times this is unwritten, and if you've gamed with folks
long enough, you know where your contract stands. However, there can be
major confusion if new people come into a group expecting one way fo doing
things and then that's not the way it works.

There are no wrong contracts, as long as everyone has fun and everyoen
knows the rules of the group.

Due to some changes in my own style lately, plus the fact that I have
expanded my group and have run into cross-communication problems, I've
stated my contract out -- these are the rules by which I run a game. This
link is from the main page in my .sig, if you'd like an idea of what one
might look like.
