[BNW] Goliaths and Blasters

As far as goliaths go I like the idea of dropping the armor down to 5/-
that seems like a decent compromise. I don't know about dropping the
"slow" quirk though. It just seems odd to have one of these big, lumbering
behemoths as fast as an average person...

Well I've always kind of assumed that the superblast has to be a
continuous thing. So if the blaster has to spend an action to, say, dodge
then he loses the superblast. So all you have to do is plug the guy while
he's charging up and he's either going to lose the charge or get hurt.

The flip side is that all it takes is a dodge to totally nullify the
super-blast (and the 2-5 actions it took to build it up and fire). Spend a
DP or two to make sure the dodge is successful and all the blaster's done
is waste his time.

Man, I really wish my group liked BNW more. I can count on one hand the
number of times I've actually gotten to play it. We do all Pinnacle stuff
these days.
