[BNW] Delta Points: 1 hit or 1 wound? [MATT]

When using DP's (not delta primers) to negate wounds does 1 DP negate 1
wound level or however many wounds were taken to one location by one
attack? The rules are a little unclear:

P. 193
"When you hero take a wound, you can spend a delta point to keep the wound
from ever happening." - the first part sounds like 1 wound level, but the
"ever happening" part makes it sound like your negating the hit.

"If you take more than one wound from a single attack, you can spend more
delta points, but it still takes one delta point to deflect each wound." -
this makes it sound like 1 wound level/DP, but it could also be that they
are refering to things like massive damage and multiple hits from burst
fire weapons.

"... [the attack] just doesn't do the kind of damage it could have." -
this makes it sound like your reducing the damage, not negating it.

Bottom line - 1 wound level/DP blows!
"The reg. bank robber fires his SMG at you and hits twice, in the
torso. You take 2 wounds from the first shot and 3 wounds from the
second."
"Ok, my strength is 3, so I take the first hit and negate all three wounds
from the second hit. So I have no DP's left and only 1 wound left to the
torso... I retreat out the bank door and run for it."
"But he's just a reg....!"

"You must find the Jade Monkey before the next full moon."
"Actually sir, we found the jade monkey; it was in your glove
	 compartment."
"And the road maps? And ice scraper?"
"They were in there too, sir."
"Ex-cellent! It's all falling into place."
