Personaly, I think that people can't accept the concept of a "hero".
Americans ultimately hate anyone who appears to be better then them. Look at
all the tabliod newspapers, thier whole purpose is to destory the image of
celebrity. Readers want nothing more than to have proof, that this object of
thier envy is not better than them. How can I except Superman as a noble
soul, when I know what I would do with such power.
I love Super Heroes, I grew up on the adventures of Batman and Superman. And
over the years they've changed and darkened, but at thier core they are
still heroes. And that's why I read about them and play these games.
