Re: [DL] 5 Deck of Cards - PS This will be long folks...

They will change - at least for pairs/three of a kind.

Your first card is X. To get a pair out of that, you have four chances to
match X. On the first pull you are seeking 5 cards out of the 53
remaining, second pull has you looking for 5 out of 52, then 5 out of 51,
and 5 out of 50.
(both jokers included). Final chance at a pair (ignoring the hands that
achieve better results, etc.) is roughly a 38% chance.

With an extra suit - you are now pulling for 6 (throw in an extra joker)
out of 68. 6/67, 6/66 and 6/65 for a rough chance of 36%.

Hmm. . . that extra joker really tips the balance.
Now - I'm afraid that you are going to have to go to a fully trained
statiscian to break down the full spread of odds.

If it did. Which I doubt. Not that it matters.
