The Coalition is a group in Gamorra, in the Doomtown game.

In the game, two of the Factions are the Texas Rangers and the 
Agency.  When the Supernatural activity got beyond acceptable levels, and 
each lost several men in failed missions (The Agency investigating a 
whorehouse full of Vampires, the Rangers in a failed raid on the Whateley 
estate)  The two joined forces, putting nationalistic differences aside, to 
fight the greater evil.

Thus, the idea for the game, a small "Coalition" to work in cases where 
both sides need all the help they can get.
