Do the series of preist murders and have every dead body in the town rise up
as a walking dead on the night of the 5th preists death, while the posse is
busy tracking down and killing deadmen the murders start happening in another
series of towns, the zombies will keep the party distrackted from noticeing
the pattern of a much bigger petagram for a while untill they figure out all
the murder are happening around a old battle field where the entire remains of
a indian tribe have been buried in a mass grave after thier slaughter by the
union army. The indians had been converted by priests to cristianity but were
still killed off by the union to make way for the white settlers in the nearby
towns, thus giving a reason for a Last son to target the preists, the towns,
and the area. The Last son may be planning to try to return his tribe to life
with the ritual but instead will get a whole tribe worth of pox walkers or
other abominations. The last series of towns would center on the home fort of
the union army who did the slaughter, the army will have declared martial law
in the nearby towns in order to prevent another series of killing. by this
time the posse will be closing in on the Last son so he be gathering up the
walking dead he created to ambush the posse while he sends the majority of his
undead army to attack the fort keeping the army busy while he finishes his
work.
