Does anyone make maps anymore? I've been doing RPGs
for about 18 years now and have seen all the different
types and usually they boil down to two different
catagories:

1) Map Driven RPGs (Logistical approach) - Games like
D&D whereas what you do, and why you're doing it isn't
as important as where you are and what's there to
kill. Designed for people who like Avalon Hill board
games and minitures battles.

2) Plot Driven RPGs (Cinematic approach) - Which
usually have maps scrawled onto the back of a pizza
box at the last minute, as what you do and why you're
doing it is more important than where you are.
Designed to work like a movie or TV show.

ps: Speaking of Avalon Hill, has anyone ever truely
and completely understood the rules to Magic Realm
and/or successfully completed a game of more than 6
people?
