Makes sense.

I'll leave the details up to the individual Marshals, though, should they want to allow them. Me, I'm not to enamored with the thought of the Rifleman making a bayonet charge with his Winchester. 

It just doesn't fit the genre, IMO. But, as always, YMMV and it's your game. :-)
