[DL] Legend

    I'm not sure if this has ever been mentioned on the list before.  If it 
has, pray forgive me for treading old ground.
    I had the chance last weekend to watch several taped episodes of a show 
that ran on UPN several years ago called LEGEND.  It's pure DL, sans 
zombies/horror/magic.  It stars Richard Dean Anderson (from "Macgyver") as 
Ernest Pratt, a dime novelist who writes tales of Western hero Nicodemus 
Legend and actually masquerades as Legend much of the time.  His partner, 
Janos Bartok (played by John DeLancie, "Q" from the various Star Trek shows), 
is a classic mad scientist type; they drive around in a "Steam 
Quadrivelocipede" which could've come right out of Smith & Robards.
    In short, the show is full of great DL ideas, fun characters, and general 
enjoyment.  Sadly, it only lasted about 20 episodes (I'm told), but if you 
can watch some, I'd heartily encourage you to do so!
