There's a pretty funky sketch of a real-life Steam Wagon (side view, or as
the caption says "Longitudinal View Of Engine Uncovered") in the Time-Life
Old West book "The Expressmen", on page 77.  It was apparantly even built,
to fail miserably in its time trials. Oh, if only they'd listened to their
inner manitous a little more carefully!

Anyway, it is a cool pic.  You could make a tent fold cardboard cut-out from
it.
