Not to disparage your rant, but I think the reason it's called 'American
Heritage' is because it's an American magazine. That, and the fact that
historically, Americans have had a huge interest in 'Invention and
Technology'. I don't think it was intended to suggest that /only/ Americans
invent cool stuff, just that we really really like our toys.

I was just tryin' to help, honest! I just wanted people to see what a neat
magazine this was! <snif> I'll go back in my box now.

"American" Heritage? The ATM, invented and developed by the Bank Of
Scotland? Cryptography machines, used by all nations but broken in Britain
by an international team... And Bell, well, you already know that one.
