I would also reccomend this...trust me..its a good source of equipment,
uniforms and even battle flags....though it is a three book set: Arms and
Equipmet of the Confederacy & Union plus Illustrated Atlas of the Civil
War.

I used it to help out in a thesis paper in college...gives ya an idea of
the kind of accoutrments the soldiers may have carried.
