[DL] Mad Scientist Inspiration: Junkyard Wars

I was flipping about on the TV last night, and came across this great show
from the BBC on The Learning Channel called "Junkyard Wars". Two teams of
four people go into a junkyard and have ten hours to build a given device.
So far, they've covered 'Flying Machines', building a machine that will fly
(glide) with pilot for any amount of time; and 'Tug-o-War', in which each
team builds a vehicle capable of out-pulling the opposing side's
contraption. Apparently there's going to be an American version of this
show, as well.

This is a great show for Mad Scientist-types, like myself. Someone might
want to cross-post this to the Hell on Earth list, because it sounds an
awful lot like the Junkers from that game.

It's coming on Wednesday nights on TLC this month. Check it out. It's really
cool.
