We had a rather devious DM for AD&D back in college.  If anyone ever got a
wish they would immediately give it away because no matter how you worded
your wish he could twist it around.  Nevertheless he had a standing offer
that anyone would get a free wish (no holds barred) if they would bring his
a sub from Captain Nemo's in Chicago (we were going to school in
Champaign-Urbana).
