I don't know. It doesn't really seem to take any longer than any other
Arcane Background. All of them use die rolls, then have an effect. With
hucksters you just add in the step of pulling a hand of cards. For anyone
experienced in playing a huckster, this should take all of 20 seconds - if
that. The better you know poker hands, the faster it goes. Plus, any good
huckster player should have his Hexes 1-memorized for effect if it's easy
enough to remember or 2 - written down, so you don't have to pull the book
out all the time.

In my games, I print out a list of my players abilities, including page
references if they're needed. You can usually fit 3 abilities on one page,
so it doesn't take long to reference at all.

I'm not saying anyone's wrong or right on this issue, I'm just giving
suggestions on how people can speed up their players' effects by being
prepared for them.
