[DL]: Looking for the Colt Patterson?-- Look on the 'Net for the 1st United States Sharpshooters

Hey list...delurking for a moment

If you're trying to find pics of the Colt Patterson, try looking on a
search engine for Berdan's 1st United States Sharpshooters. They were
originally issued the Patterson, which was phased out in favor of the much
more reliable Sharps rifle. There should be sites of reenactors using the
old Patterson, or maybe pics of the actual weapons (I know its in the Arms
and Equipment of the Union book).
