Hi all,
    I assume you mean Napoleon III rather than *the* Napoleon Bonaparte, who
died in 1820. ("Napoleon II" never ruled). On that note, from the French
presence in North America in the Deadlands universe (Foreign Legion in
Mexico and French ships in the Maze), it seems likely that he is still
Emperor and that the French won the Franco-Prussian war of 1870 (or least
didn't lose it!).  (In the real world, the Prussia kicked French military
butt, surrounded Paris, whereupon the Napoleon III's government collapsed
and the Prussians had to wait before a new government could be formed to
make the surrender.)
