I think the bonus adds to the pace too. But I don't understand the part on
the ton of bounty needed : I thought you couldn't buy a d12+2 score even if
you had the theoritical 42 points to spare, because the d12+n stats belong
to the 'unnatural trait' category ?
 
As a sidenote, Douglas, if you could have mercy on the digest users and turn
off the html format when posting to the list, it would be very nice.

Hello list,
 
I haven't found this anywhere in the rulebooks, and I'm curious to know if
this has come up for any of the heroes in your posses.  When a character's
Nimbleness goes above d12 (d12+2, etc.), does the additional bonus go to
their pace as well?  I'm inclined to say yes.  While this could create a
really unrealistically fast character, he or she would have to spend a ton
of bounty to do it.
