Thanks Patrick,

I think the Marshal is new, although he's played the deadlands cardgame and 
the diskgame. Suddenly I think I ought to make "Red-flannel Joe", the weird 
west equivalent of the poor sucker in the red shirt that always used to 
beam down with Capt. Kirk and Spock but never managed to beam back up. Is 
"Phaser fodder" an archetype?
