[DL] Law Dogs Revisions

Here they are, finally.

These are also going to be put up with the accumulated rulings the next
time they are updated.

Rulebooks: Law Dogs, Revisions
C) A revised edition of Law Dogs is being offered as a download off of
the Pinnacle website. I'm pretty certain I didn't get everything, but
here's a list of those revisions that I did find.
TOC: Page count is off by two pages. What is page 4 in the old book is
listed as page 6 in the new book. This is important only because of the
Table of Contents and Marshal's Badges (the pointers to marshal only
information). These are still paged in the old book format - so just add 2
to the page references of the download version. All of the page references
in this bit of errata refer to the book version.
Pg 9: The graphic in the bottom corner has been replaced with a paragraph
explaining the split up between the Agency and the Pinkertons.
Pg 32: Last line of the Salt Lake City, Utah paragraph has been changed to
read "Neither of these groups is worth swapping bullets with."
Pg 33: Last line of the Texas Rangers in the Disputed Lands paragraph has
been changed to read "Southern hospitality only extends so far."
Pg 45: Typo in the new book for the Two-Gun Kid edge. 3/5 has been
replaced with 3__5.
Pg 50: Bandito archetype now has Shootin': Pistol, Rifle at 3.
Pg 51: Desperado archetype now has Shootin': Pistol, Shotgun at 3.
Pg 52: Hexslinger archetype now has Hexslinging of 5 and the following
hexes: ammo whammy, loaded for bear, load 'em up, soul blast
Pg 53: US Marshal archetype now has Shootin': Pistol, Rifle at 3.
Pg 63: 1st paragraph changed to inform that these rules have already been
incorporated into 2nd Ed Deadlands rules. Last paragraph brought in line
with 2nd Ed. rules and changed to allow characters to draw a bead for the
first shot of firing on automatic.
Pg 64: Fanning the Hammer, Reducing Damage, and Marshal's Shortcut all
refer to these rules already existing in 2nd Ed. Deadlands.
Pg 65-76:The Speed stat was dropped from all weapons.
Pg 68: Weapons Table Key no longer refers to Speed.
Pg 84: First paragraph is called Agency, instead of Pinkerton National
Detective Agency. Third paragraph refers to using the Men-In-Black
template instead of the Pinkerton archetype. 4th paragraph refers to the
extra information to be found in The Agency sourcebook, instead of listing
the corrections to the Pinkerton archetype.
Pg 89: Stats for Alexander Graves lists Hexslingin' 4 and removed the
levels from the hexes. (All hexes are the same).
Pg 93: Stats for Arturo Rackham lists Hexslingin' 4 and removed the levels
from the hexes. (All hexes are the same).
Pg 98: Of note - John Wesley Hardin still refers to Quick and the Dead, as
his stats were cut for space reasons from the Marshal's Handbook.
Pg 100: The Laughing Men reference now points to the Marshal's Handbook
instead of Quick and the Dead.
Pg 102: The Marshal's Shortcut refers to how these rules are
already in the 2nd Ed. rulebooks.
Pg 111: Bounty points changed to new format. Simply making it through the
scene - 1 white chip each. Finding clues at the train - 1 white chip per
clue found to whoever dug it up.
Pg 113: Bounty points changed. Defeating the Bleeding Heart Gang - 1 red
chip each. Finding Fern's letter - 1 white chip to the finder. Figuring
out how to track and successfully pursue Fern - 1 red chip to the genius.
Pg 115: Bounty points changed. The posse conducts a proper investigation
in town - 1 white chip each. The players roleplay their interaction with
the townfolk well - 1 white chip each.
Pg 121: Profile for Kyle Thomas now has Hexslingin 3. Hexes still have the
hex levels listed, but disregard them in favor of the new rules.
Pg 124: Bounty points changed. Exposing and defeating Abernathy as the
killer - 1 red chip each and a point of Grit. The posse discovers and
destroys Abernathy's black magic laboratory - 1 blue chip to the
discoverer, another to the character that suggests destroying it. The
posse discovers and destroys the Ghede Charm - 1 red chip each.
Pg 125: Bounty points changed. Uncovering the secret of the Gray Gold - 1
white chip each. Defeating the Bayou Vermillion troops - 1 red chip
each. The posse discovers the gold - Moola!
Pg 126: Boot Hill sheet removed.
Some typos: Luck of the Irish is still listed as a 3 point edge. There is
the occasional misplaced reference to Quick and the Dead remaining.
