[DL] Building a Deadlands site

Okay.  Here's the thing.  I need some help from you web savvy Deadlanders out 
there.  I have admired your websites for long enough.  I am ready to make my 
own contribution to the list of Deadlands web pages.  

I am however HTML illiterate, though I am very capable of using a computer.  
I need some advice on what editors, how-to books, and places to set up 
webpages.

I would appreciate any help you can give me.
