[DL] Pinkertons/ The Agency

Having just read Men in Black Dusters again, I had an idea/ query I wondered
if anyone had ever dealt with in their campaigns.

The book says that when the Pinkertons were the Union's Men In Black there
were 4,000 of them, both not all were involved in investigating the
supernatural. Now the Agency has taken over and there are currently 900
Agents. Presumably the other 3,100 were just never offered a chance to joint
eh Agency. But some of them must have some knowledge that things aren't
quite right with the world any more, there's no mention of any precautions
being made against all of these "Security Risks" (I get a mental image of a
Weird Science version of the Neuralyser. Takes up an entire room, the
"subject" strapped to a chair inthe middle and a pair of huge clanking metal
arms tipped with needles!) Has anyone dealt with loose-lipped/ disgruntled
Pinkertons or the like in their game?

My other query is along the same lines - what would happen to a Pinkerton
offered a position on the Agency who refuses it for whatever reason, but
continues to deal with Event phenomena as before? Would the Agency hunt him
down or only bother with him when he gets in the way, the approach I see
them taking to most player posses.
