Try chipping the baddie's shootin' rolls.  There ain't nothing like changing a miss to a head shot.  If you run outta chips, you can always hand out reds for completing an adventure. <grin>

Also, you might want to review the cover rules.  Those guys should be nigh invunerable with the cover they have.

Me - I'm down to considering if a hexslinger can use a cannon as a personal weapon........  It might be TOO deadly though.
