Re: [DL] Deadlands Classic :)

I will tell you something Allen, I started
playing Deadlands, The Wierd West, starting in 1996.
I thank my friend Ben for buying the original. For
the same as others, it is usually the first RPG that
you play that becomes your favorite. I figure it
isn't your first, and I can't tell you if it is your
favorite, I just can't. :) What I would like to say
is that our Wild West past was an adventurous time for
us. Outlaws, were considered heroes and they were
feared at the same time. People of normal stature
became infamous and are still mentioned in history
lessons. The list goes on... You have the chance to
rewrite history and make it yours. (only this time,
your dealing with the boogey man) Also remember that
in Deadlands, fears are real and your worst nightmare
WILL come to haunt you even if you don't get "hunted"
on the Veteran table. (Man, I love that table.) All
in all, I hope you enjoy the game to it's fullest.
Try, after your posse gets some Deadlands experience,
On Harrowed Ground. If I am corrected, you get it
with the Wierd West Marshalls screen. Try it out.
 Later and have fun, mark
