[DL] Desperadoes (OT)

I have "America" and it was an okay game - for the first month. Then, it
kinda dragged. I liked the western scenario, but it's just another
combat sim.
There hasn't been a good western-themed computer roleplaying game ever
created. Sierra-Online came out with a comedy western eight years ago
called "Freddy Pharkas - Frontier Pharmacist" which was the only
computer adventure with a western theme.
I've heard bad things about "Desperadoes" like it's too hard to play.
The western genre is rife with material for a game, it's just that right
now, there doesn't seem to be any good western adventure-type games for
the computer.
Maybe the developing Deadlands computer game will rectify this...
