I think that the technical definition of Harrowed is just "back from the
dead."  You just don't see that often without a manitou involved. ;-)
This Guy may have been along the lines of:  After death, He looked at
Himself and decided that He was just too good to let die.  So He
intercepted the departing soul (which happened to be His anyway), and
used it as a conduit to His former body.  Since He was possessed by
Himself, dominion wasn't much of an issue.  'Course, He didn't have the
fun background chatter goin' on neither...  Or if He did, it was more
along the lines of <sinister whisper>"Forgive him... Forgive
him!"</sinister whisper>

I'm not really sure you want us remembering this guy
as someone possessed by a demon however (like a
Harrowed). I'm pretty sure he was supposed to be
something like almost the exact opposite. 

Still, YMMV.
