[DL] LeMat weapons

One of my players decided to go with a LeMat grapeshot pistol with his new
character, which raises a question: do LeMat weapons use shootin: shotgun
when firing the shotgun, or the same aptitude as the weapon in question
(pistol or rifle)? How do y'all play it?
