On a related note, some of the folks (myself included) on the WotC
Bulletin Boards have been toying with the idea of what is currently
called the "Maverick" prestige class - a fantasy setting wizard that
uses playing cards as weapons & spell delivery systems.  It feels a lot
like what I always envisioned a Huckster to be (especially considering
the cover illustration from Hucksters & Hexes/Way of the Huckster), and
could easily be transported to DLd20, with a few modifications.  Here
