[DL] Re: Deadlands Down Under Again (Possible Spoilers)

I missed out on this topic the first time it was raised and as a (sometimes) proud Australian I thought I'd raise it and make a few comments.
I tend to think of the Rainbow Serpent as the Aboriginal equivalent of the American Indian Thunderbird (Although it being a particularly powerful Rattler is a damn good idea). However I do agree that the Dreaming suggests a certain "merging" between the real world and the Hunting Grounds. In the deadlands world perhaps this particular effect is returning as reality and the Hunting Grounds become somewhat blurred. This would make Australia a strange place to go. Los Funnel Webs? Considering the cattle routes through the Red Centre I should think Los Diablos are more than appropriate (But what about a hellish type of rattler?).
Australia, whatever the case sounds like it is in a bad way.
'As for Australia, you don't want to now what's up "down under".'- The Marshal's Handbook. (I do want to know by the way.)
The other quote that makes me think that Australia is in trouble is from the card Ian Spencer-Whitney in the Doomtown Card Game:
"Easy mate. This bugger's just a guppy compared to the things we get down in Brisbane." (I personally think Brisbane is scary enough as is).
As for NZ, not Los Kiwi, Los Sheep! But seriously, why would the Reckoners be bothered with NZ? No one else is! (I apoligise if I just managed to offend someone.)
And imagine the places Ghost Rock would be found; Kakadu, Uluru (Ghost Rock Centre), The Great Barrier Reef.
Australia, after the American West, would probably be the best (And probably be the weirdest) place to be in Weird West.
Just a few thoughts.
