jack the ripper has been adjusted a little bit from the timeline because he's 
just too cool to leave out.   by my estimation he should be operating in 
england in late '77 to early '78 depending on the amount of time it takes to 
get over there.   check out independence day (the ebook dime novel adventure) 
for details.   (the boss is a jack the ripper in salt lake city.)
