Re: [DL] (Off topic) an idea for a new RPG alter Earth world

Hi,
Interesting ideas. But just what is your timeframe? It isn't entirely
clear from your posting. This is relevant as Napoleon was born in 1769
which makes him a little young to be involved in the American Revolution.
Obviously, you could alter the date of Napoleon's birth if necessary. Also,
I am under the impression the term "New France" referred mostly to what is
now Eastern Canada plus bits of the Northern U.S. New Orleans was part of a
separate colony, Louisiana.
As another idea, you might want to check out Bernard Cornwell's Sharpe's
Devil which chronologically ends his Sharpe's series with an adventure
involving a scheme to free Napoleon from St Helena and bring him to South
America in order that he help the people of South America throw off the
Spanish yoke. While the aventure occurs at the end of Napoleon's life, it
does shed some light on what type of man Napoleon was.
As a side note, the Sharpe series are very good in explaining land
warfare around 1800. For naval affairs, you could do worse than looking up
Dewey Lambdin's Alan Lewrie books which are much more amusing than
Hornblower.
          Daniel
"Thus conscience doth make cowards of us all."
     Hamlet, Act III, scene i.

That's good sugestions, I could call the RPG Revolution since this was the
age of it.

Also if you remember your history before Napoleon stomped threw Europe, he
wanted to create a Western Empire in North America so in Revolution he is in
New Orleans which is part of New France. Officialy he here to help the
American rebels, unofficial he here to create his Western Empire.

Also in the world Bendictt Arnold turncoat move succeed,
