I would say it depends on what the wording is on the super natural power or item. If it says it increases the exsiting trait by "x" number of steps, then I would say you would spend bounty to raise your bae trait. If the power/item had a set level that it increases yout trait to, then i wuld say that you spend bounty according to your new trait level. Make sense?
