         The one obstacle to their creation in in DL canon is the fact that 
prisoner exchanges are a regular occurrence, so there's a lot less 
incentive to join the other side knowing that a little patience will get 
you back to your own unit and out of the (admittedly horrid) prison camps 
in a reasonable amount of time.
