The guy playing my Huckster )the one who looks forward to the backlash) is
convinced that the Book of Hoyle is actually an arcane text full of spells
just waiting for him to decipher.
At first I took it in good humor, but I was talking to him today and it
seems that he truly believes he will unlock this door to power.
Has anyone else encountered this? cause I have no clue where to begin to
bring him to his senses.
Look at it this way: either you're right, or he is. If you're
right, you've nothing to worry about. He'll learn how to play some really
obscure games, and that's it. If he's right, then you won't want to be on
his bad side when he learns Eulogy.
Now, has he shelled out for an antique copy of The Book yet? Because,
you know how bad the content was in the 1878 edition; it's doubtful that
anything would come out of a modern one.
